Cal ID FAQ's

Quick answers to the questions Cal ID users ask most.

Can I have multiple email addresses on my account?

Yes. In Profile Settings, add multiple emails and set one as your Primary address for notifications.

Will changing my username affect my existing booking links?

Yes. Your booking link is based on your username (cal.id/username), so changing your username will make your old booking links invalid. You’ll need to share your new booking link.

If you’ve embedded your booking page on your website, the existing embed also be affected, so make sure to update the embed with your new username/link.

Can I connect more than one Google Calendar?

Yes. Go to Apps › Calendars › Install to connect multiple Google accounts and check them all for conflicts.

What's the difference between the title and the URL slug?

The title is the event name people see (e.g., "Intro Call"). The slug is the web address (e.g., /intro). Changing the slug breaks old links, while changing the title doesn't. If you’ve embedded the event on your website, changing the slug also affect the existing embed, so make sure to update the embed with the new slug.

How do I add questions to the booking page?

Edit your event type, open the Advanced tab, and use Booking questions to add, edit, or require custom fields. For more detail, refer Add Booking questions

Can I disable the default confirmation email?

Yes — in the event type's Advanced tab, toggle on Disable confirmation email. You must have a custom workflow active to send a replacement confirmation first.
For more detail, refer Disable Confirmation Email

How do I redirect users after they book?

Edit the event type, open Advanced, and enter your link in the Redirect on booking field. For more detail, refer Redirect Booking

How do I use a different schedule for different events?

In Availability, create separate schedules (e.g., "Sales", "Support"), then select the one you want in each event type.

Why isn't Google Meet available for team meetings?

Google Meet doesn't appear directly in the location dropdown for team events. To use it, first install Google Calendar for the team and select the connected Google Calendar in the Advanced tab for that event type. Once this is configured, Google Meet will be available as a location option.

Alternatively, you can select Organizer's default app and make sure every host has Google Meet set as their default conferencing app. Google Meet requires Google Calendar to be installed first.

Why isn't Zoom available for team meetings?

Zoom doesn't appear directly in the location dropdown for team events. Instead, choose Organizer's default app, and make sure every host has Zoom set as their default at app.cal.id/apps/installed/conferencing.

How do I set Zoom as my video app?

Install Zoom from the App Store, then select Zoom in your event type's Location dropdown.

Why does it show "No Availability" for my team?

Usually because team members haven't connected their calendars, or you haven't added hosts. In the event type's Team tab, add hosts (or use Add all team members, including future members).

How do I collect payments?

Install Stripe, Razorpay, or PayPal from the App Store, then set the price and currency in your event type's Apps tab.

Why is my booking page showing a "paid licence" message for a collective event?

The event is a Collective Team Event, and one or more assigned hosts do not have a paid license. For collective events, every assigned host must have a paid license — if even one is unlicensed, no availability is offered and this message shows to your team. License the host, or remove them from the event.

Why am I unable to integrate Razorpay with Cal ID?

No. Razorpay Test Mode isn't supported. Switch to Live Mode and complete Razorpay's account activation before connecting.

What should I check before connecting Razorpay?

Confirm that your Razorpay account is activated, it's in Live Mode, you've completed any required verification or KYC, and you're connecting the correct account.

I'm in Live Mode but still can't integrate Razorpay. What should I do?

If your account is active and in Live Mode but the integration still fails, share a screenshot or screen recording of the error with support so the team can investigate.
