Custom 'Reply-To' Email

Custom 'Reply-To' email redirects guest replies to an inbox of your choice. By default, replies to a booking email go to your account email — this changes that destination.

Why use it

  • Centralize communication: route replies to a team inbox like [email protected].
  • Delegation: let staff handle follow-ups without exposing your personal email.
  • Professionalism: the reply address matches your business domain or department.
  • Inbox management: keep your calendar email clean.

Set it up

  1. Open Event Types and click the event.
  2. Open the Advanced tab.
  3. Toggle Custom 'Reply-To' email ON and enter the address for replies.
  4. Click Save.

How it works

Automated emails still come from Cal ID's system address, but the Reply-To header is your custom address — so when a guest hits reply, their message goes straight to that inbox.

Note: this is per event type — e.g., route "Discovery Calls" to sales and "Technical Support" to your help desk. If disabled, replies default to your Cal ID profile email.
