How to use Offer Seats in Cal ID

Offer seats turns a one-on-one meeting into a group session — perfect for webinars, classes, or workshops where several people book the same slot.

Why use it

  • Host group sessions: classes, webinars, or team training at once.
  • Efficiency: cover the same material with several people in one meeting.
  • Automatic capacity: once all seats fill, the slot hides so it can't be overbooked.

Set it up

  1. Open Event Types and click the event.
  2. Open the Advanced tab.
  3. Toggle Offer seats ON and set the maximum number of seats.
  4. Click Save.

How it works

The slot stays visible for others to book until all seats are filled — e.g., with 20 seats and 13 taken, guests may see how many spots remain.

  • Each booker gets their own confirmation and calendar invite.
  • The slot disappears once seats are full (or if you mark yourself busy).

💡 Host a one-time event

To lock all seats into a single date and time (a webinar or GD), see Scheduling a One-Time Group Event (Webinars & GDs).
