How to Set Up Requires Confirmation for a Booking?
Requires confirmation is a gatekeeper for your appointments — bookings must be approved before they're finalized, added to your calendar, or confirmed to the guest.
- Always: every booking needs your approval.
- When booked with less than [X] notice: allow instant bookings far ahead, but require approval for last-minute requests.
- Unconfirmed bookings still block calendar slots: hold the requested slot as busy while you decide.
- Only require confirmation for free email providers: auto-approve work domains, but vet guests using Gmail, Outlook, etc.
- Open Event Types and click the event.
- Toggle Requires confirmation ON.
- Choose Always or the notice threshold, and tick the slot-blocking / free-email options as needed.
- Click Save.

The guest submits their request and sees a pending approval message — no confirmation email or meeting link is generated until you approve.

- Email: approve or reject from the notification.

- Dashboard: open the Bookings tab to see pending requests.

On Confirm, the guest gets their confirmation email and the event syncs to your calendar.
Multiple requests for the same slot: you can accept only one. The rest stay unconfirmed. To accept a different one, first cancel the previously accepted booking for that slot, then approve another.
