Verify Email on Booking Page before the Booking

Requires booker email verification makes guests enter a code before confirming, ensuring every booking is tied to a real, reachable email.

Why use it

  • Kill spam & fake bookings: blocks bots using non-existent addresses.
  • Guarantee deliverability: invites and reminders will actually arrive.
  • Protect sensitive meetings: the booker is who they claim to be.
  • Reduce no-shows: the extra step filters out low-intent bookers.

Set it up

  1. Open Event Types and click the event.
  2. Open the Advanced tab.
  3. Toggle Requires booker email verification ON.
  4. Click Save.

How it works

After filling in their details, the guest enters a 6-digit code Cal ID emails them. Once it's correct, the meeting confirms and lands on both calendars. If they don't enter it in time, the slot stays open for others.

💡 Tip

Verification adds a little friction — great for public links where spam is a concern, but you may leave it off for known clients or internal meetings.
