Mastering the Unified Calendar in Cal ID

The Unified Calendar is your central hub for every appointment — it brings your connected Google and Outlook calendars together so you can view, create, edit, and join meetings without switching apps.

Getting started

  • Syncing: when you enable calendar sync, Cal ID pulls in meetings from the past 30 days and the next 90 days.
  • Views: switch between Day, Week, and Month with the buttons at the top right.
  • Multiple calendars: all your integrated calendars appear in the left sidebar — toggle each on or off to choose what you see.
  • Search: find a meeting by name with the search bar at the top left.

  • Add a calendar: click + Add Calendar at the top right to connect more.

  • Custom colors: click the color circle next to a calendar's name to change its display color.

Schedule a new meeting

  1. Click any empty slot on the calendar.
  2. In the pop-up, fill in the event title, attendees, date & time, target calendar, location (e.g., Google Meet), and an optional booking note.

  1. Click Create Booking — it appears on your calendar and in your Bookings section.

Manage existing bookings

  • View details: click a booking to open the Event Details panel (time, participants, location).

  • Join: click Join in the details panel to enter the call.

  • Drag to reschedule: drag a booking to a new slot — the attendee gets a rescheduling email automatically.
  • Reschedule or cancel: open the details panel and click Reschedule or Cancel Booking.

Why use it

  • One view for everything, whether booked via your Cal ID URL or added manually.
  • Fast changes with drag-and-drop or one-click cancel.
  • Attendees stay informed via automatic emails on every change.
