Integrate WhatsApp Business

Integrating WhatsApp Business with Cal ID lets you trigger notifications and reminders from your own business number.

Step 1: Install the app

Log in to Cal ID and open the Apps section.
Search for WhatsApp Business and install it.
Choose where to install it: a Personal account (individual use) or a Team account (team collaboration).

Click Connect WhatsApp Business to proceed.

On the confirmation screen, click Continue.

Step 2: Choose your business portfolio

Select the business portfolio tied to your WhatsApp Business account, then pick the WhatsApp Business account (number) you want to use.

Note: your address and Tax ID must be verified on Meta to trigger templates.

Step 3: Select your phone number

Choose the phone number to use with WhatsApp Business, then click Next. This number becomes the main contact point for the integration.

Step 4: Review and confirm

Review your settings and click Confirm to finalize the connection.

Step 5: Use it in a workflow

Your WhatsApp Business app is now connected. In Cal ID, open the event type where you want the workflow, select your WhatsApp Business number, choose a template from the Message Template dropdown, and save.

No template yet? Click Create Template to make one.
