Understanding Your Tracking Data

Once the setup is complete, Cal ID will automatically start pushing data to your Meta dashboard.

  • The Standard Event: Successful bookings will trigger under a built-in event called booking_success_v2. This is a default event created by Cal ID to make your tracking seamless and ready to map for ad conversions out of the box.

⚠️ Important Note on Data Discrepancies: It is completely normal to see slight discrepancies between your Cal ID backend bookings and the reporting data shown in your Meta Events Manager. These tracking variances are expected in modern web applications and are typically caused by factors beyond control, such as: Browser cookie restrictions, Active ad blockers or privacy settings used by the attendee Multi-device behaviour (e.g., clicking an ad on a phone but booking later on a laptop) or Custom attribution windows configured inside your Meta Ads Manager.

  • Install the Meta Pixel app from the Cal ID sidebar.
  • Paste the ID into the global app setup or under individual event type Apps tabs.
