Customizing Your Appearance in Cal ID

In Cal ID, Appearance settings personalize your account's visuals — your internal dashboard theme and the layout guests see on your public booking page.

Open Appearance settings

Log in to Cal ID.
Go to Settings and open the Appearance tab.
Set your themes and layout (below).
Click Update to save each section.

Dashboard theme

Controls your logged-in dashboard only — guests never see it.

System default: matches your device's light/dark mode.
Light: a clean, bright interface.
Dark: a high-contrast dark interface, easier in low light.

Select a theme and click Update below that section.

Booking page theme

Controls the theme guests see on your booking page. Choose System default, Light, or Dark, then click Update in that section.

Booking layout

Choose how your available slots are presented, and which view loads first.

Month view — a full-month grid; best for booking far ahead.

Weekly view — days side by side within a week; best for finding a near-term opening.

Column view — a vertical list of dates and times; the most mobile-friendly.

Enable multiple views: check Month, Weekly, and Column to let bookers switch layouts on your page; uncheck the ones you don't want.

Set the default view: under Default view, pick the layout that loads when someone opens your link.

💡 Tip

For the most flexibility, enable all three layouts so bookers can pick the view they find most comfortable.
