# Set Multiple Durations

In **Cal ID**, you don't need separate events for different meeting lengths — **Multiple Durations** lets a single event type offer several options, and the booker picks.

| Why use it

* **Cleaner profile:** group time options under one event.
* **Guest flexibility:** the booker chooses exactly how much of your time they need.

| Set it up

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Scroll to the **Duration** section and toggle **Allow booker to select duration** **ON**.

3. In **Available durations**, add the lengths you want (e.g., 5, 15, 20, 60 min).
4. Pick a **Default duration** — the one pre-selected for guests.
5. Click **Save**.

| What the booker sees

Guests choose a duration, and the calendar updates to show only slots that fit that length.

> **Note:** if a guest picks 60 minutes, Cal ID hides gaps too short for a full hour. Remove an option anytime with the "x" next to it.
