# Reassigning a Team Booking (Round Robin)

In a **round-robin** team event, meetings are shared automatically among available members. If the assigned host becomes unavailable, you can hand the booking to another qualified teammate — without cancelling.

| Reassign a round-robin booking

1. Click **Bookings** in the left sidebar.
2. Find the team booking under **Upcoming**.
3. Click the **three dots (…)** on the right of the row.
4. Click **Reassign**.

| Choose how to reassign

The **Reassign round robin host** popup offers two methods.

|| Automatic redistribution

Select the **Round Robin** option to let Cal ID choose. It scans the remaining assigned members' calendars for that slot and drops the meeting onto the next available person, following your round-robin rules.

|| Manual reassignment

Select **Manually reassign round robin host** to pick someone specific. A **Select team member** search appears — choose the teammate to take over.

You can also add a reason for the reassignment.

| Complete the handoff

Click the blue **Reassign** button. Cal ID immediately sends updates:

* The **previous host** is told the slot was removed from their calendar.
* The **new host** gets the meeting notes, links, and details.
* The **attendee's** calendar updates automatically — no rebooking needed.
