# Multiple Schedules

**Multiple schedules** let you keep different sets of hours and assign the right one to each event type — so a sales call and an after-hours consult can each follow their own availability.

| Why use multiple schedules

* **Different timezones:** keep a dedicated schedule for each region you book around.
* **Different meeting types:** offer some event types only during specific windows.
* **Cleaner organization:** stop overloading a single schedule with exceptions.

| Set it up

1. Open **Availability** and click **+ New** to create a schedule (see [Create Availability in Cal ID](https://help.cal.id/en/article/create-availability-in-cal-id-uk557v/)).
2. Name it and set its hours, then **Save**.
3. Open the event type you want, go to its **Availability** tab, and select this schedule.
