# Integrate Cal ID with Paypal

Cal ID's PayPal integration collects payment when someone books a paid event — the meeting is scheduled once payment succeeds.

| Install PayPal

1. Open the [Cal ID](https://cal.id/home) App Store and search for **PayPal**.

2. Click **Install**. You'll be asked for your PayPal **Client ID** and **Secret Key**.

| Get your Client ID and Secret Key

1. Log in to your [PayPal Developer dashboard](https://developer.paypal.com/dashboard/applications/live) and create a new app.
2. Name the app and click **Create App**.
3. Open the new app and copy the **Client ID** and **Secret Key**.
4. Paste both into Cal ID and click **Save**.

You're redirected back to Cal ID, where PayPal now shows as installed.

| Add PayPal to an event type

1. Go to **Event Types**, select the event type, and click **Edit**.
2. Open the **Apps** tab.
3. Toggle the **PayPal** app **ON**.
4. Enter the amount to collect and click **Save**.

On the booking page, the booker completes payment with **Pay to Book**, then the meeting is scheduled.
