# How to use Offer Seats in Cal ID

**Offer seats** turns a one-on-one meeting into a **group session** — perfect for webinars, classes, or workshops where several people book the same slot.

| Why use it

* **Host group sessions:** classes, webinars, or team training at once.
* **Efficiency:** cover the same material with several people in one meeting.
* **Automatic capacity:** once all seats fill, the slot hides so it can't be overbooked.

| Set it up

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Open the **Advanced** tab.
3. Toggle **Offer seats** **ON** and set the maximum number of seats.
4. Click **Save**.

| How it works

The slot stays visible for others to book until all seats are filled — e.g., with 20 seats and 13 taken, guests may see how many spots remain.

* Each booker gets their own confirmation and calendar invite.
* The slot disappears once seats are full (or if you mark yourself busy).

| 💡 Host a one-time event
