# How to set Availability for an Event type?

Creating a schedule is only half the job — you also tell each event (like a "Discovery Call") which schedule to follow.

| Link a schedule to an event

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Open the **Availability** tab.
3. In the availability dropdown, select the schedule you created.
4. Click **Save**.
