# How to Remove a Member from the Team

How to remove a member from an existing Cal ID team.

| Remove a member

1. Log in to Cal ID and click **Teams** in the left sidebar.
2. Find the team, click the **three dots (…)**, and select **Edit team**.

3. Open the **Members** tab.
4. Next to the member, click the **three dots (…)** and select **Remove**.

5. Confirm the removal.

> **Note:** only **Owners** or **Admins** can remove members.
