# Hide Organizer's Email

**Hide organizer's email** keeps your contact address private — you can take bookings and send invites without exposing your personal or business email.

| Why use it

* **Privacy:** for public figures, execs, or anyone using a personal address for business.
* **Fewer direct follow-ups:** guests use official channels instead of emailing you.
* **Reduce spam:** your address can't be scraped from calendar invites.

| Set it up

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Open the **Advanced** tab.
3. Toggle **Hide organizer's email** **ON** and **Save**.

| How it works

* **Calendar invite:** the "Organizer" shows your **display name** or a no-reply address, not your email.
* **Confirmation email:** the "From" is masked with Cal ID's system email.
* **Booking summary:** your email is omitted from the page the guest sees after booking.

> **Note:** this covers the **initial booking and automated emails** — if you later reply to a guest manually, your address is visible. Make sure your **display name** is set correctly in account settings.
