# Dynamic Group Links

In **Cal ID**, **Dynamic Group Links** let you schedule with several people on the fly — no formal team or pre-built event type required.

| How it works (the "+" method)

Join two or more Cal ID usernames with a **plus (+)** sign in the address bar:

* **1-on-1 link:** `cal.id/yourname`
* **Group link:** `cal.id/yourname+colleague`
* **Triple group link:** `cal.id/yourname+colleague+manager`

Cal ID finds the times where **all** participants are free and shows only those slots to the booker.

| Why use it

* **No setup:** no dashboard visit or new event type each time you loop someone in.
* **Great for ad-hoc meetings:** a sales call that needs an engineer, or an appointment that needs an assistant.
* **Global coordination:** it cross-references everyone's timezones and busy slots in seconds.

| Privacy & control

This is **opt-in**, so you're never added to random group meetings without consent.

1. Go to **Settings › General**.
2. Find the **Dynamic Group Links** toggle:
* **ON:** others can add your username to a dynamic link.
* **OFF:** your username is blocked from dynamic links — people can only book you via your own event types.
