# Custom 'Reply-To' Email

**Custom 'Reply-To' email** redirects guest replies to an inbox of your choice. By default, replies to a booking email go to your account email — this changes that destination.

| Why use it

* **Centralize communication:** route replies to a team inbox like `support@company.com`.
* **Delegation:** let staff handle follow-ups without exposing your personal email.
* **Professionalism:** the reply address matches your business domain or department.
* **Inbox management:** keep your calendar email clean.

| Set it up

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Open the **Advanced** tab.
3. Toggle **Custom 'Reply-To' email** **ON** and enter the address for replies.
4. Click **Save**.

| How it works

Automated emails still come from Cal ID's system address, but the **Reply-To** header is your custom address — so when a guest hits reply, their message goes straight to that inbox.

> **Note:** this is per event type — e.g., route "Discovery Calls" to sales and "Technical Support" to your help desk. If disabled, replies default to your Cal ID profile email.
