# Custom or Fixed Time-Slot Intervals

**Time-slot intervals** control how often start times appear on your booking page — independent of your meeting duration. For example, a 30-minute meeting can be set to start only at the top of every hour.

| Why use it

* **Cleaner page:** fewer, well-spaced start times.
* **Standard start times:** force 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 rather than 9:15 or 10:45.
* **Predictable days:** block-based scheduling.

| Set it up

1. Open **Event Types** and click the event.
2. Open the **Limits** tab.
3. In **Time-slot intervals**, choose an option (e.g., **15, 30, or 60 minutes**). Leave it blank to use the event's duration.

4. Click **Save**.

| What the booker sees

* **30-minute interval:** 10:00, 10:30, 11:00…
* **60-minute interval:** only on the hour — 10:00, 11:00, 12:00.

Only intervals that fit your availability and don't conflict with other bookings are shown.

| 💡 Tip

Set a **60-minute interval** to always start on the hour — great for batching your work.
