# Configuring Language, Timezone, and Travel Schedule in Cal ID

Set your preferred language, your home timezone, and a travel schedule so your bookings stay accurate while you're on the move.

| Open General settings

1. Log in to [Cal ID](https://cal.id/home).
2. Click your profile name and choose **Settings**.
3. Open the [**General**](https://cal.id/settings/my-account/general) tab in the left sidebar.

| Language

Changes the language of your Cal ID dashboard. Select your preferred language from the **Language** dropdown.

| Timezone

Sets your home timezone so meeting times are calculated correctly. Choose your city or region from the **Timezone** dropdown.

| Travel schedule

Plan a trip ahead of time so your availability follows a different timezone — no more clients booking you at midnight while you travel.

|| Set it up

1. Click **Add** next to **Travel Schedule**.

2. Pick the dates you'll be traveling with the calendar picker.

3. Not sure when you'll return? Toggle **Schedule timezone without end date** to **ON**.

4. Select the timezone of the place you're visiting.

5. Click **Update** to activate the travel schedule.
