# Cal ID Rooms

**Cal ID Rooms** is Cal ID's built-in video conferencing — host meetings directly from your booking page, with no third-party platform. Every meeting opens securely inside Cal ID, keeping scheduling, meetings, and recordings in one place for client calls, interviews, demos, and team syncs.

| Features

**On all plans:**

* HD video and audio
* Screen sharing
* In-call chat
* Secure meeting access
* Meetings hosted inside Cal ID
* An automatic meeting room for every booking

**On Business & Enterprise plans:**

* Meeting recording, playback, and download
* Secure recording storage

| How it works

Unlike platforms that reuse a permanent link, Cal ID Rooms creates a unique room for each booking. When a booking uses Cal ID Rooms:

* A unique meeting URL is generated for that booking.
* The room opens when the first participant joins.
* Access is limited to that booking — no permanent links that could be shared by accident.

| Install Cal ID Rooms

1. Log in to Cal ID and open [Apps](https://cal.id/apps).
