# Add Custom Icons in the Events

In [Cal ID](https://cal.id/home), the **Change icon** feature lets you pick a unique symbol and color for each event — keeping your dashboard organized and your booking page on-brand.

| Why use custom icons

* **Visual organization:** tell a "Group Session" from a "One-on-One" at a glance.
* **Brand matching:** use your brand colors.
* **Guest clarity:** a 🎓 for "Career Counselling" or a 🛠️ for a "Workshop" signals what the meeting is about.

| Add an icon

1. Open **Event Types**, click the **three dots (…)** on the event, and select **Change icon**.

2. In the **Choose Icon** box, search or browse by category (Business, Communication, Education, etc.).

3. Click the **Icon Color** box and enter a hex code or pick a brand color.

4. Click **Apply**.

Use one color for all "Discovery" meetings and another for "Paid" ones to scan your schedule faster.
